We are having a LOT of fun here in Muncie...wink! Actually we've spent the past week painting, and we are ready to be done. This house is cute, but it needed a little TLC to cover up scratches, dings and holes. The paint in the house also was pretty much one color...walls matched the doors and trim. So we've been painting...and it looks great!
Last night we gave this bad boy (1970s wood paneling) a nice coat of primer. (That's not our furniture by the way.) It already has brightened up the room and has brought us to the right year... 2009.
The reason we decided to paint is because next week we are getting new carpet put in. There are two reasons we are getting new carpet... my two feet in the photo above. This is what my feet look like after walking on the carpet for just a few hours...ewww! (minus the white paint - an extra feature that day.) And our landlords think it's a shame that we're getting rid of this "clean" carpet. It's going to look like a whole new place... It will be like a Marriott for all you visitors.

Wow! You guys are doing a great job with the house. Your painting skills are now all over the world. Hope the things are going well and not too stressful. The kids were here earlier today and are now at the Roy Days parade. Have a great weekend.
