Field of Dreams

We've seen the corn grow quite a bit since we first visited Indiana back in May and saw the empty dirt fields. Some of the fields are now being harvested, along with the soy bean fields. The farmers here alternate their crop each year between corn and soy. We had some Indiana corn for dinner last night that was from the local Farmer's Market...yum! The corn is one thing I really love here in Indiana. There's just something beautiful about agriculture, farmers, tractors and old red barns (among my other obsessions with tornadoes and Amish people.)

The photo above is Kurtis and I in a cornfield. If you're wondering why you can't see Kurtis' cute face, it's because I'm on his shoulders :)
