Before we left Utah, we made the tear-jerking decision to sell Kurtis' baby - his 4Runner. So since we've been here in Indiana we've just had one car and I've been taking Kurtis to and picking him up from work everyday. Which works now, but won't work come fall when I have to go teach Seminary at 6:15 a.m. and Kurtis can get called into work at any time. We searched long and hard and finally found a 2nd car. We like to call it "The Sweet Ride." It's a 1993 Nissan Sentra with 193,000 miles on it. But it's clean inside, runs like a champ and is "loaded" (sunroof, tilt, cruise, power windows, power locks, Alpine stereo cassette player - you know, all the necessities.) Granted the paint is a little oxidized, but to travel the 2.02 miles round trip to and from the hospital once a day (or two, or three calls a day) it will be umm...adequate. And the best part is, this champ was only $400.
