Right now Kurtis is in his busiest month of the whole three years. The rotation is called "Wards." It's basically about taking care of people who are admitted to the hospital for various reasons. It seems like many of his patients are alcohol-loving or seizure-faking. Or maybe those are just the best ones to tell stories about. He is "On Call" every fifth day, which means he goes to work at 8 a.m. and can't leave the hospital until 2 p.m. the next day. The hospital is nice and puts a 30-hour cap on the residents work hours. 30-hours... that's almost as much as some people work in a week! And on top of this, he only gets 5 days off this month, and isn't allowed to take personal days off. To sum it up, he's tired. On Sunday he came home, and fell asleep for a few hours. So if any of you wonder how hard Kurtis is working, or what a person who's just worked 30 hours would look like, I've snapped these exclusive photos for you.
