Winter Wonderland

Kurtis Scraping our Cars Off

This weekend we were warned that a big snowstorm was moving in. There was 4-9" of snow to be expected from Friday to Saturday morning. It's interesting, because that seems fairly normal for home, but here people seem to panic, shut down schools and cancel activities. If we canceled things every time it snowed in Utah, we'd be canceling a lot. It seems that when it snows in Utah, life goes on, just a slower commute. All we can guess is that here, a lot of things get canceled because the roads don't get plowed. Making it more difficult to get around.

Euclid Ave....not plowed

The back of our house...the wind blew the snow up

The front of our house before shoveling

I might add... in the summertime it's not fun to walk around with no sidewalks, but it the winter it is awesome because there are no sidewalks to shovel, only the driveway.
