Camping Fun

This weekend Kurtis took a couple of days off so that we could go camping with some friends. The weather was supposed to be stormy and rainy the whole time, but we thought we'd test our luck. It turned out to be a beautiful weekend, not a drop of rain and the temperature was very pleasant. We heard some tornado warning sirens go off once... not sure what that was about, but we didn't experience a tornado.

We went camping at a place near Madison, Indiana called Clifty Falls State Park. It was a beautiful, very green and densely wooded area. There were about 10 hiking trails and four waterfalls in the park. It was a lot of fun to go hiking and be out in the wilderness. We also had a good time with our friends and their two kids. We played games with them each night and even got to watch two raccoons eat up the Cheetos their kids spilled and get into the garbage sack that was sitting out.

I loved being able to spend time with Kurtis and doing things we both enjoy...camping and hiking. It was a wonderful weekend!

There were even more stairs going down the cliffside than you can see here. It was awesome!
