- We really miss being able to see our families often and be there for all the important and big events, as well as the little things
- There are good people in the world, no matter where you go
- We have met so many great new friends, who really have become our Indiana Family. There's always people to get together with and have a good time.
- We have an awesome ward here
- Kurtis and I really have been "newly weds" here. We've lived most of our married life here (14 months vs. 8 months in Utah)
- Mold can grow anywhere
- Families with both a mother and father are precious. There are very few of those here with Kurtis' OB patients.
- It's fun to watch corn grow
- We LOVE fireflies
- It's nice to not have to worry about sprinklers. All the rain keeps everything so green here.
- Hoosiers think that pedestrians do not have the right of way here...YIKES!
- Any food can be deep fried, just visit any fair (deep fried cookie dough, Twinkies, candy bars, pepsi)
- Mormons aren't Christians, wink ;)
- There's not much to do in Muncie, hence all the pregnant women (Kurtis' theory)
- Snow days in school are not rare.
- Rummage Sales (a.k.a. Garage Sales) are the place to be on Saturday mornings. People here go crazy over them.
- We've learned lots of fun new games we'll have to play with you later (i.e. the bean game and train game)
- Muncie may not pave it's roads, or plow them in the winter, but it has amazing fireworks each Independence Day. Priorities. Priorities. Priorities.

Things We've Learned
It's been a year since we moved to Indiana. We all know that for us the idea of moving wasn't easy at first. But looking back it's so easy to see that Heavenly Father's hand has been at work for us this whole time. Everything worked out so well and moving has been a blessing for us. As we reflect on the past year we've learned some things.

We miss being with you also.
You have learned so much because you are both so awesome and make the best of any situation. I'm excited to read next years lessons!!
Great thoughts. Your moving to Indiana has been a learning experience for all of us.
